Get To Know Me
HI, my name is Cindy. Wife, mother of 2 and grandmother of 3.
When growing up, my great grandmother lived with us for a few years. Her name was Jessie Belle. A funny, spunky and independent lady. What better way to honor her and share a little bit of her with you, than to name my business after her.
I began making candles back in the early 1990's. About 10 years later, candles had to take a back seat so I could fully enjoy life with my kids.
In the past couple of years, I have been juggling around the idea of getting back into candle making. What a difference 20 years makes. So many more choices than there was back at the beginning. I have experimented with all the new waxes and have settled on what I know best. The richness of soy-based creaminess and the paraffin-enhanced scent throw.
Handcrafted in small batches with love and care. Each candle is infused with heartfelt dedication and passion for you to enjoy.
Candle Care
Here are some tips for caring for your candle:
* Inspect:
Check your candle for any debris before lighting.
* Trim:
Trim the wick to about a 1/4" before each use. This helps the candle burn evenly and prevents soot.
* Surface:
Place your candle on a temperature safe surface.
* Keep away from children and pets:
Make sure candles are out of reach of children and pets.
* Burn within sight:
Always keep and eye on your candle while it is burning.
* Avoid drafts:
Keep candles away from open windows, fans and anything that may cause a draft.
* Don't move a lit candle:
Never touch or move a candle while it's lit or wax is liquid.
* Time:
Only burn your candle for 3 - 4 hours at a time.
* Extinguishing:
Never use water or any liquid to extinguish your candle. Instead, use a candle wick snuffer.
* End of candle:
